We are a group of Reidsville, NC and surrounding Rockinham County home school parents wanting to form a supportive and educational group for our kids. We meet the first Thursday of every month from 1:30-3 p.m. at Reidsville Christian Church. We are still planning some activities and will be scheduling more field trips. Please check our schedule to see what is planned. We invite you to contact us for more information. I have a child that I would like to homeschool but I need some help on where to start and who do I contact legal wise. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I live in Person County. Thanks.

Do Rockingham county homeschooled children have any type of athelic programs set up such as softball, soccer, cheerleading, football etc…? I am thinking about homeschooling my daughter, but I would like to know if the association has any of these programs instituted. And is there support for parents that may be week in one area of the curriculum but stronger in other areas? Thank You.
Our group does not have any athletic programs set up yet. If we grow and have enough interest that might be something we do down the road. There are a few other options for athletic programs, YMCA, Upwards programs ect. Please email me and I can get you more specific information.
Our parents are a great group of support and try to work together to help each other with their children’s eductional needs.
Hello my name is Patricia and I have recently sent in my Intent Form to Homeschool my two children who are both girls. I live in far Southwestern Caswell County and was curious if your group accepted families from my area if so I would greatly want to join not just for myself but for my children too. Thanks.
